Interview With "Rustin" Songwriter Lenny Kravitz

"Rustin" had its world premiere at the 2023 Telluride Film Festival, where its leading star, Colman Domingo, received the best reviews of his career, bringing the untold story of Bayard Rustin to the screen. Grammy-winning musical artist Lenny Kravitz contributed to the film by writing the end credits song "Road To Freedom," which was nominated for a Critics Choice and Golden Globe Award and is shortlisted at the 96th Academy Awards for Best Original Song. Kravitz was kind enough to spend some time speaking with us about his work on the song, which can be listened to below.
