No More Perfect Podcast with Jill Savage
I grew up in a loving, Christian home. However, learning about Jesus was primarily done at church. Because of this, I had a foundation of faith, but I really didn’t understand what it meant to have a living faith. When I got to college, my faith moved from a religion to a relationship with God. Several years later when I became a mom, I knew that I didn’t want the church to be the primary place my kids learned about God; I wanted our home to be the primary place where my kids’ faith was nurtured. But I wasn’t sure where to start!
Today we’re talking all about how to teach our kids about Jesus, and I’m not going to tackle it alone. Joining me today is my friend Dannah Gresh, who is the founder of True Girl, author of over 20 books including “Lies Young Women Believe,” and the host of an online Bible study for tweens, teens, and their moms.
Dannah definitely understands what children need from their parents to develop a strong faith and in this episode we cover how to nurture your child’s faith, the crucial role being connected to our children plays, two essential tools you need for the journey, and the importance of being consistent. I hope this episode is a huge encouragement for you this week!
