The History of the Vikings with Asger Folmann (2019)

Today I talk to Asger Folmann about viking history and in general; the pre-Christian history of Scandinavia and the North, to better understand the culture in which the Nordic shamanic practice of Seiðr (Seid) and the volva (völva/vølve) excited. We discuss historical reenactment, the lifestyle of the vikings, their belief system; the Nordic gods, Norse mythology & folklore, the Golden Horns of Gallehus, and much more.

Asger Folmann is a Danish/American actor, author, and songwriter, based in the US. He is known for his quirky roles, notably as Bandy in the highly anticipated fantasy feature classic, Heavenquest: A Pilgrim's Progress. He also runs a YouTube channel where he talks about crypto currencies, among other topics.
