This week Mathias and Daniel are sitting down with Joshua Rood, heathen theologian and lecture organizer for the amazing Midgardsblot music festival, for what promises to be a somewhat contentious episode. The popularity of shows like Vikings have given the titular subject matter somewhat of a rebrand. But how realistic are all of the undercuts, beards, and other hairstyles these shows have popularized? Together with the boys Josh will be delving into the history of locked hair traditions around the world with an eye towards Vikings in particular. Obviously this can be a sensitive subject so we just ask that you bear with us since, obviously, it's complicated.
