This BL coming out of China is another dark horse for one of the best this year (I've been saying this a lot lately)! Blue Canvas of Youthful Days stars Guo Jia Le, Zhang Xuan Yu, Xiao Zi Zhuo and Yao Xing Hao. This was a real treat for me & here's hoping that the show after episode six is still as gripping as it has been!

I have been bewitched by this crazy show and I'm taking you all with me! This is my FOURTH podcast about the c drama romance/office Rom Com - "Only For Love," Starring Dylan Wang, Bai Lu, Miles Wei and Liu Dong Qin. Plus this podcast was inspired by a twitter thread on (some) ARMY's wanting a potential CYPHER Five to be penned by the group when they're all back from the military - and how some reject that notion due to the recent controversial events that have taken place.

I decided to do a podcast about my all time favourite Bl shows to watch that are super short, that have amazing rewatch value. These are great to watch anytime of the year, but you may find that these are really cozy for the fall and upcoming winter season. Some of these are old and others are very recent.

My next c drama fantasy/romance watch is 2024's "Kill Me Love Me," starring Wu Jin Yan and Liu Xue Yi. I ADORED 'The Double' and have talked about it a lot on this podcast, so my hope is that this drama will fill the gap that TD has left. This is my first impressions/review of the first three episodes. Spoilers included.

This one was a wild ride. I HAVE to talk about this 2024 c drama "romance" starring Zizi Xu and Cheng Yu Feng. 'Enslaved by Love' is dark, filled with red flags and might be the c drama fix you've been looking for because of the two leads hot chemistry.

I need a new fix after "The Double," and I'm hoping that "Are You the One," will be it! This podcast is all about the period/costume c drama, starring Wang Chu Ran and Zhang Wan Yi. This is my first impressions/recap of episode one and if I think it has the potential to be the next c drama blockbuster of the summer (or end of the summer tbh).

This podcast is all about episode one and episode two ...a recap/gushing session about the show and what's upcoming for episode three.

This is my first impressions/recap podcast of the c drama romance, "As Beautiful As You," starring Xu Kai and Tan Songyun. The show has a strong female lead character in the first episode and I think there's potential in the romance/chemistry but I may need more episodes to chew into. I get into more specifics....

This episode acts like an epilogue for the show and I discuss whether it did its job in giving the viewers a great conclusion to this show stopping c drama. One of the most confusing 'First Impressions' that I've done on a C drama. I love Zhao Lu Si and started watching this period, costume c drama due to a TikTok edit and really didn't know what I was getting myself into lol. Also starring Zheng Ye Cheng.

This is the classic bodyguard romance filled with the tropes of chaebol family like scheming, over the top acting choices from the antagonists and such. But...there's s a simmering tension that I want to talk about more with the two leads.

This new costume c drama is on my list for summer watches! Mai Mai is back with another potentially great romance after 'Amidst a Snowstorm of Love' with this historical drama, "The Princess Royal," also starring Zhang Linghe. I give you my first impressions of the first two episodes in this podcast (with spoiler warning ahead of time!

In this podcast, I talk about : V news (and him being shirtless again despite saying the 'Chapter Two isn't about BTS taking their shirts off'), Jimin and the release of 'Muse' and the music I hope Tae will release going forward and more BTS stuff in general.

My next c drama watch for this podcast is the very hyped "The Double," starring Wu Jin Yan and Wang Xing Yue. Probably one of the most thrilling first ten minutes of a show I've watched in ages!

This podcast episode is my first impressions of the c - drama "Love me, love my voice," starring Zhou Ye and Tan Jianci. This c drama seems so far like a show for major foodies who love slow burn, scenic and aesthetically pleasing dramas that are totally comforting!

I wanted to release my final thoughts/review about the c drama romance "Nothing But You," starring Zhou Yutong and Leo Wu. This is a character driven story that dives more into growth arcs for all the major characters first and foremost than a simple romance - but there's still romance to chew on as well!

My final review for the K drama, "Lovely Runner," starring Kim Hye -yoon and Byeon Woo- seok. I, of course, talk about Woo - seok's incredible face card but also my overall thoughts about the show - especially about episode 16 and whether or not I found it to be a satisfying finale.

It's found family, eventual forbidden love for many messy and complicated reasons, and an exploration on trauma bonds with heavy symbolism throughout. It's a great show but deals in many taboo/sensitive subject matter and may not be for everyone but it deserves a watch.
