Plus, the team covers the new releases for next week and all the latest PlayStation news, including the latest Overwatch seasonal event.
We've become enamored with Aloy, staggered by the scope of the world, and awed by the stunning visuals Guerrilla Games has crafted. Perhaps none so more than Naughty Dog Creative Director Neil Druckmann.
After spending only a week with the game, Neil was able take time away from crafting The Last of Us: Part II to sit down with Guerrilla Games Managing Director Hermen Hulst.

The gang's all here! Well, two of them anyway. That's right, this week's show sees Ryan and Justin at the reins, which means there's nobody to stop them from talking about Final Fantasy for an hour straight! Except they don't do that, because that wouldn't make for a great show. Come for an interview with Ubisoft about Ghost Recon Wildlands, stay for Justin recounting his recent adventures in Japan.
It took us 45 minutes to figure out how to turn the microphones on, but when we finally did we discussed the packed release schedule for the last week of January, including Resident Evil VII and Yakuza 0, Sid’s love of pinball, and, of course, Sid’s continued tilt at the windmills of Darkest Dungeon.
Ahoy hoy! We're only in the second week of January, so we feel it's still appropriate to take the time to reflect on 2016. To help us do that on this week's Blogcast, we were happy enough to be joined by the illustrious Scott Rohde, Senior Vice President of Product Development at Worldwide Studios.
We're back! Joining us for our inaugural 2017 episode is farm-fresh new face Zac Minor, who recently joined the PlayStation social media team. This week, we discuss what we played over the break, adventures in VR gaming (Carnival Games!) and plenty more.
We made it! It's the end of the year, and the Blogcast crew has thoughts. MANY THOUGHTS. Join us as we look back on our favorite games of 2016, endlessly promote our fancy new short URL for PlayStation.Blog (Seriously, try it! It works!) and generally just kill time until we're allowed to leave for the holiday break. See you in 2017!

When Sid heard the news, his head just about spun off into the atmosphere. That's right, System Shock is coming to PS4. It's one of Sid's favorite series of all time, so he has quite a lot to say about it. And speaking of first-person, story-driven experiences, Sid went hands-on with the upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. What new technologies -- and new dangers -- will hero Adam Jensen face in this chapter of the iconic franchise? Sid tells all. Or at least some.
We're short one Shuman today, but we've enlisted a very special co-host in his stead: the one and only Shuhei Yoshida! Join us as we discuss some of Shuhei's favorite memories from E3 and the upcoming release of The Last Guardian, and as he reveals how he makes time to play games (spoiler: he wakes up early).
Sid and Clements are alone in the studio. What better way to pass the time than talk about their mutual love for Overwatch?
Not only do we sit down and talk with the legendary Ed Boon about the recently revealed Injustice 2, but we also say farewell to one of our dearest friends as he embarks on a new adventure.

It's a huge week on the blogcast! Following GDC week, the team talks PlayStation VR, Thumper, Golem, and Marvel Battlegrounds. Enjoy!
We're honestly amazed that we made it to this point. Back in late 2011, when we took our first, shaky steps into podcasting, we would never have believed that more than four years later we would still be going strong.
Hitting the 200 episode mark means that PlayStation Blogcast is officially serious business. We could never have reached this point without you, so: Thank you!

I'm sure he's fine.
On the eve of our penultimate Blogcast recording before episode 200 (I think I did that right), the gang laments the temporary absence of a certain Powerhouse, talks about our earliest and dearest fighting game memories, reveals next week's new releases, and keeps on Necrodancin' and... Tharsin'? Tharsisin'?
Enjoy!
