Paddy, Ian (sadly only for moments...), Martin, Sid and Tim reunite for our reverse chronological look at the Sister's albums to have a talk about their debut - the flawed but often amazing First & Last & Always. A tricky edit thisone as Ians feed stopped recording almost straight away, but we left him in to say hello at the start though unfortunately lost his insights this time around. So get your room lit in white foods from the back and fire up the smoke machines for a listen!

2024 see's the 40th anniversary of the release of the Purple Rain album by Prince, and this was recorded earlier in the year and finally mixed down for release. Paddy, with special PPUK Podcast members Chopin and Andy along with the creater of the 500 Prince songs website, Tora, go ultra geeky on this one. Not as amenable to the casual listener as some!

Paddy, Ian and special guest and super-sputnik, Greg take a look at the fascinating album. Art Piece? Con? Cleverist thing ever in the shape of Sigue Sigue Sputnik's - Flaunt It. This is the first podcast where i would say if you have no idea what this is at all - go and listen to it all the way through RIGHT NOW its assured that you will have a strong opinion one way or another! Fascinating!!!!

Paddy, Ian and special guest Ed look at the first of Mr Treznor's albums. The origional long play HALO, Pretty Hate Machine demonstrated the start of a journey for a unique individual and by extension band that would weave itself to various places, some quite dark over the years. This album however whilst being filled with the strong emotions of a young studio musician shows some serious song writing chops!

Paddy and Ian go all dynamic duo on this 90s classic and it really is party time (or so we deduce???) Good time 90s bouncy rockers from the UK and indeed our neck of the woods. If you are not aware of this one and want perking up - go get it!!!!!
