DeShawn Vinson is an A&R at Sony Music Publishing originally from Seattle. After visiting his cousin in Atlanta and hitting the strip clubs as a high schooler, he was immediately sold on moving to the A. Getting his start interning at DTP's studio, he was sweeping floors, cleaning up dog poop and doing food runs. Childish Major was working out of DTP as he transitioned into an artist and valued Da'Shawn's honest feedback / ability to "work a room" enough to trust him with his career. Da'Shawn never thought he would make it to the corporate level, but is excited to learn more about the business, meet new people and service a broader roster of creatives at Sony Music Publishing.
