In this episode of the One More Time Podcast, Wara talks about his first album hitting the NY Times, his relationship with Grip, shortening his artist name, deciding to take down some of his music over the years, and more!
Wara is a perfect representation of both his NYC and ATL upbringings. Inspired by the golden era of NYC hip-hop, he merges that culture with ATL influences that results in a very unique sound. What started out as an attempt to sell exclusive sneakers quickly turned into a blog called Deeper than Dope. After that, Wara discovered his passion for recording and headed down the artistry path. He saw success with his first release but then went through a period of time where he felt pressured to release without the right strategy in place. His days of taking down music that he rushed to drop are over. New song with Grip is below and project is on the way!
