Popstar Benny (aka "Platinum Benny" after Rod Wave's project sold 1million copies) is a producer out of Atlanta and co-manager to Bear1Boss. After seeing Soulja Boy make beats on the Internet, he picked up production to accompany his other creative hustles of graphic design and DJing. Soundcloud recently released a documentary called "Scenes: plugg" where they highlight a sound / culture that Benny has played an integral role in cultivating alongside Mexikodro and others. With Bear1Boss and ATL Smook on the Popstar FM roster, Benny has high hopes for growing his independent label / management company into something much bigger.
