Before there was Air Force Special Tactics, there was Chief Master Sergeant retired Wayne Norrad. Chief Norrad started his career before the Air Force knew exactly what Combat Control was going to be and ended his career as the Second AFSOC Command Chief, and the accepted Godfather of what we know Special Tactics to be today.  

Chief Norrad is the definition of the word "legend", which is why we asked him to come on and tell us his story; it was so amazing we had to break it into 2 parts! 

Huge thanks to Chief Norrad, we truly appreciate his impact on Combat Control and Air Force Special Tactics as a whole! We already have Round 2 in the books- be on the lookout for that one to drop, in the Legends series!
