OpenAIRE podcast on Open Science
In this episode, we invite three seasoned experts, Elena Giglia, Raphael Tournoy and Andreas Czerniak, to explore what it means to publish Open Access and which tools can be used to this end. We clarify what the Article Processing Charges (APCs) are and how this cost can be monitored at the institutional level, particularly for libraries, and funders by using the OpenAPC service. We explore various publication models of academic journals and inform researchers about key aspects they should be aware of, such as Open Access Models and new developments in scholarly publishing, by using Episciences.
