Tune in to Episode 09 of the PA Talks series with Cyril Lancelin, a French architect and visual artist. He began his career working for architects as well as artists in Paris and Los Angeles by using 3D modeling techniques and virtual images developed in the 1990s. Cyril decided to start his own creative studio in 2016 and since then he has developed a hybrid work of sculptures, immersive installations, drawings, and virtual experiences that link the architecture and the human body. The notions of repetition and parametric design are recurring themes in his work. Lancelin is known for famous works such as Knot, a giant immersive sculpture in Hangzhou, and The Pyramid Sphere, an immersive sculpture in Philadelphia. I hope you enjoy the podcast.
