Romero joined the office of Rem Koolhaas after graduating from Universidad Iberoamericana in Architecture in 1995. In the wake of establishing FR-EE in 2000, the firm has realized and proposed projects in a variety of countries that encompass different programs and contexts such as dense urban centers and the desert. His selected projects include Museum Soumaya, Reforma Tower, Bicentennial Ring, and The National Museum of Energy and Technology.
