PARTISANS is an award-winning architecture studio that specializes in the integration of design & technology, invention & programming along with culture & creative services. Alex studied sculpture and architecture at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture and at the University of Rome, where he graduated as a President's scholar. He has received numerous awards and exhibitions including a New York Prize Fellowship awarded by the Van Alen Institute for Architecture. He has also worked in the studios of Massimiliano Fuksas and Doriana Mandrelli. In 2010 he was admitted to post-graduate studies at the Architectural Association School in London, but left to found PARTISANS in Toronto with his Partner Pooya Baktash. In this episode Alex discussed about his architecture career and Partisans’ recent projects including 55 Yonge and Orbit. He also shared some reflections on the future of architecture and architectural practice in a post-COVID world
