Paddy’s Pod: The Always Sunny Podcast

Season 14 is here! We're back to a 2 week release cycle until we get through this and the other hundred or so eps we have left. Enjoy some meat cubes and forget about your leukemia riddled kid to the soothing dulcet tones of Paddy's Pod.

Season 14 is here and we're scrambling to release our back catalog and jump into the new eps. If all goes to plan (which doesn't tend to happen), you piggies are going to plump with content slop. Slurp it up.

We're sort of back jabronis! In this straight up garbage teaser, we reflect on our accidental prolonged hiatus using our shitty new bi-coastal recording setup.

Rough as this may be, rest assured jabroni nation - the pod will soon rise from the ashes like a glorious horny phoenix.

Season 13 premiere spectacular! Let's goooo

The audio quality is still "good" and we cover a very fun ep. Carmen is back and we talk about representations of trans people in media. Mac is banging her regardless. Dennis and Frank want to murder. Charlie is doing a lawyer thing. Dee is Pepperjack's best ho. 

The new setup has arrived and we are popping our p's to really test it out. Still some shit to figure out, but sound quality has significantly improved just in time for REAL SAYING RETARDED HOURS *AIR HORN AIR HORN*. It's a classic episode with the nightman song and a lot of saying the R word.  

It's Christmas in July p-dicks. A mere 6 months after the release of part one, we have PART TWO of our review of the timeless seasonal classic that is A Very Sunny Christmas. We straight up just start in the middle of the episode here, so that's great. Maybe check out part 1 from back in December. 

RIP the old shitty audio, sound quality gon be be real nice starting next week.

It's another good ep about a great ep. Hoo boy do we cover it. The whole gang is in classic form. The Duster makes it's debut. We manage to talk about Korea stuff without doing any racist accents. You think a pirate lives in there? 

Good ep alert. Dee confronts her highschool nemesis. We got sweatshop stuff, Dennis with huge tits, new segments, old segments, steam whistles, nuanced intelligent discussion. One of those things isn't really in there. Get into it pussydicks! 

Get ready for your butthole to be shredded like tissue paper - today's ep is tight one. The McPoyle's hold the gang hostage. Frank plays Die Hard in the vents. Charlie kisses Dee and farts in Mac's face. Other things happen too and we talk about them.  

Another classic ep about a classic ep for Jabroni Nation. Barbara is dead. The Lawyer is introduced. Bruce Mathis shows back up and tries to get Dee and Frank to bang in front of him. The boys try to recruit other boys to a party mansion with a flyer that looks like a penis.  There's a lot to love and a lot to hate on today's episode [Dramatic Pause] of Paddy's Pod.  

I feel like we're always saying this, but for real this is a truly classic episode of Sunny. Greenman. Frank and Charlie on acid. Busload of McPoyle's. Fake Donovan McNabb. Open Eagles tryouts like that new kids on the block movie. Dee crossdresses and looks like Bret Michaels.

It's only Gabe and Andrew this week. Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but I'm sure this 40 minute discussion of a 20 minute episode is totally worthwhile all the way through. 

We did a good one this time. Bruce Mathis enters the picture. Theories and conspiracies abound as to the parentage of various gang members. Real life Bruce diddled kids and that gets a segment. Good times all around. 

Gabe edited this one and I'm uploading it without having listened to it first. Anyways, we're talking about a top tier classic Sunny ep and really got into it. Rock, Flag and Eagle b*tch!

Good ep about a good ep. We start with a struggle session about our own gang dynamics. Cricket debuts. Mac and Charlie do blessings. Dee is the worst. Dennis is not eating. The good lord is up inside of me! 

Hoo boy folks, this one's a doozy. Host Taylor is absent and the boys are running wild. Get ready for an indulgent yet riveting 45 minute discussion of a 22 minute episode (among other nonsense topics that somehow factor in as well). 

Good ep. 

Crack is smoked. Dreams are dashed. Limos are partied in with hookers. Government programs are exploited. We covered an all time classic and it's good, folks.   

Mazel tov and Allahu Akbar! Lot's to discuss when the Gang goes Jihad. Gang dynamics. Barbara Reynolds. Terrorist videos. We have a nuanced, critical discussion of middle eastern politics (jk no one knows shit about dick). Frank buys the bar. Robot co-host is becoming sentient. Season 2, baby. Frank comes in hot. The gang is really into strip clubs, apparently. Races. Faking disabilities. Drunk Driving. Discussions about what is canonical with lots of canon sounds. We have a fact checking robot co-host now. Spread the word jabronis. 

It's a good ep. We talk about it and do some segments. 

We've got a "special" one for you this week. Ripped from the vaults, it's one of our first attempts at podcasting - recorded many moons ago with special guest Matt. You see, back then, we hadn't quite mastered techniques like "not talking over eachother" and "having good things to say," but its actually pretty decent. You'll see the humble beginnings of many future fave topics - Mac's sexuality, Dee as straight man, proto-Dennis system and of course fashion. Get into it bitch. 

The gang finds a dead guy. The episode is discussed, especially the parts about nazis. 

Decent ep about a not great ep... or is it? Casual gun use is funny. Dissecting early Sunny. Gugino's, baby. We go a little heavy on the sound effects but also the show clips so it's cool. Gabe's points keep getting "stolen" before he gets to say them, which is also cool. If you don't want to listen to a 25 minute podcast about a mediocre 21 minute Sunny episode you can show yourself to the door. 

Uhhhh.

The gang gets access to a professional studio environment. 

We went back to season one. It's a good ep. 

Finale discussion. Voltaire once said to judge a man not by his answers, but his questions and boy do we have a few of those. Is Glenn Howerton leaving the show? What will happen to the gang? Did he D.E.N.N.I.S. us? Is he really doing this to us? Am I crying? What happened with the waitress? Does fat gay mac rule? Is Andrew still a guest? Is it silly to have a 50 minute podcast about a 21 minute show? What is this? Where am I?  

After a brief hiatus, we back! It's a Cricket ep. Gabe apologizes for being so drunk last time. We deep dive into Cricket's history (with clips) before discussing the ep. Special guest Andrew returns. New pod every Thursday for the foreseeable future.    

Worst episode yet question mark? The Gang do their jobs. Special guest Andrew. Yuck puddle. Gay Mac is shining. Dennis has feelings and gets an RPG. We recorded late. Gabe was wasted. Hot Tip: Stay tuned til the end for a montage of garbage that got cut out. Honestly it's a miracle this is listenable.  

We discuss the late Maureen Ponderosa (RIP) and Dennis, her probable murderer. It's a true crime ep. Charlie is Brendan Dassey. Frank is Robert Durst. The hosts see if they can get a lil high and still record a good ep - they cannot.

Big ep. Mac is out of the closet. We discuss his gay history at length and Gabe finally accepts the truth. Slurs are unfortunately a focal point. Dee and Charlie might be banging. Andrew is back on the pod. I somehow managed to edit and upload this from Cuba but then had to reupload from regular ass America because a clip was in there twice. 

Best ep yet? A no-name guest joins the no-name hosts and our gang dynamic gets heated. New highly questionable segments are introduced. Beef is squashed. Sunny is dissected. Get into it.

In our first ever attempt at recording a podcast, we cover the first ever episode of Sunny. In it you will hear two idiots with no broadcasting experience try to have a coherent conversation peppered with segments and clips.
