The 'Grimdark' painting style is incredibly popular in Warhammer currently, but is it really the best way to paint? Is it just another fad? In this episode, we discuss the origins of the style and how it has changed over the years, our experience with it, and debunk some of the stigma around the gritty aesthetic and its affiliation with speed painting...
Also in this episode, we talk more about the 'pile of potential', hoarding paints, hobby contraptions and the dreaded drawer of doom! And as always, don't forget to stay to the end for our parting hobby hack!

Along with that - a game of Command, Reserve, Purge (Start, Bench, Sell for any sports fans reading this) where we discuss who we'd rather paint out of Abaddon, Guilliman and The Lion, plus our preferred painting techniques out of Airbrushing, Drybrushing or Contrast Paints.
We also take on our question of the week, where we'll discuss one model that we've struggled to finish.
