DC Studios opened its doors for an update on their slate and plans, an event which BD got to attend on the Warner Bros. lot. Daredevil: Born Again had its premiere and reactions flooded the Internet. The Russo Bros. held their Electric State premiere in LA and a junket, prompting questions about their work on the next two Avengers movies!

Daredevil: Born Again is on its press tour generating interesting quotes from Charlie Cox and company about the MCU’s Defenders. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has released its final episodes, and first looks at Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey & a trailer for Freaky Tales have dropped. Plus, Avengers: Doomsday is gearing up to film on the heels of Captain America 4 having a successful box office weekend and the DC Studios side of things has been quiet. What’s the latest?

Captain America: Brave New World review and breakdown time is here! This live episode of Phase Hero featuring special guest reviewer Fantastic Frankey will give the latest MCU movie a rating out of 10, as well as a complete breakdown of the Easter eggs and key moments in the Captain America movie. Captain America: Brave New World director Julius Onah joins Phase Hero to discuss the latest journey Sam Wilson is taking in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Onah directed Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Harrison Ford, and the rest of the cast in this Phase 5 film for Marvel Studios, speaking to Brandon Davis about bringing the film, its action, the Red Hulk, and ties to The Incredible Hulk to life. Den of Thieves 2: Pantera is finally arriving, meaning it's time to talk with Gerard Butler and O'Shea Jackson Jr. about their returns to the heist world! BD talks with the cast, as well as director Christian Gudegast and producer Tucker Tooley! Den of Thieves might be on its way to making Butler's Nick and Jackson Jr.'s Donnie into characters a franchise can build around. The movie flips the script and forces their characters to work together this time, rather than having them feuding and running from one another as they were throughout the first Den of Thieves movie! Batman movies are being delayed with both The Batman 2 and Brave and The Bold having been revealed as pushed back on Friday morning. This prompted speculation about whether or not James Gunn's DC Universe will combine the franchises he is creating with David Corenswet's Superman and Matt Reeves is building with Robert Pattinson's Batman. Plus, Sony's CEO Tony Vinciquerra made remarks about the studio's failing Spider-Man franchise which doesn't have a Spider-Man in it and, naturally, the Internet reacted. It's the last "news" show of the year for Phase Hero!

Andrews is going on to helm to Marvel Zombies animated series, sharing insights about the upcoming series in addition to how he wrapped up the alternate universe series which kicked off Marvel Animation.
