PodStance: The PunkStance Podcast
On the latest episode of PodStance: The PunkStance Podcast, I speak with professor and punk-rock lover Ian Zapcic and his adoration for the hit record 'The '59 Sound' by The Gaslight Anthem. The album has followed Ian through countless moments of his life; from his relationships to finally getting his PhD, The Gaslight Anthem has been, well the "anthem" of his adult life. We delve into some very heavy topics throughout this episode, from anxiety and depression to losing close friends, to addiction and even radicalisation in men; no stone is left unturned. But that didn't stop us from going on our usual tangents, with Brewdog hotels and anecdotes about blatant swearing also making the cut. Thank you so much to Ian for coming on the show and I wish you all the best in the future.
