A surprise hit from 1989, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids set a high watermark for the admittedly niche genre of comedic science fiction. Telling the story (and misadventures) of what happens when zany scientist and inventor Wayne Szalinski accidentally shrinks his kids - and his neighbour's- and they have to find their way back to safety.
