The Blood Of Jesus Prayer - Spiritual Warfare

This prayer is the Blood of Jesus Prayer, which will break, scatter, melt and wash away every work of the enemy in your life.

The Blood of Jesus Christ is an atonement for sin from its origin in the Mosaic Law. In the Old testament the priest was to make an offering of the blood of animals on the altar of the temple for the sins of the people.  It reads in Hebrews 9:22​ “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness”. This was a blood offering that was limited in its effectiveness, which is why it had to be offered again and again.

This was a foreshadowing of the “once for all” sacrifice which Jesus offered on the cross (Hebrews 7:27​). Once that sacrifice was made, there was no longer a requirement for the blood of animals. 

The blood of Jesus is powerful and this blood sacrifice should be remembered in our daily lives in order to destroy the works of the enemy.
