If you are following the repeating prayer without having the prayer text, stop the prayer briefly when you get to the Prayer for Purpose and Goals, and speak the name(s) of the child or children (suggestion: “Father, I now lift up to You this prayer for [name or names]”) and then continue with the prayer.

Some of the scriptures in the repeating section have not been slowed down for repetition: these are for hearing the Word of God, and you do not need to repeat, only listen and agree with the Word.
