Merry Christmas from everyone at PSPHQ! It's our last episode of the season, and what better way to celebrate than with a big old festive party! The boys from the pod are joined by the inimitable man behind it all - J. Willgoose, Esq.  Recorded in September this year prior to the launch of the new album and tour, J gives us an insider’s look at what’s in store for fans. We dive into the intricate tech behind the latest tour rig, explore the creative process that shaped their newest album, The Last Flight, and uncover how the band’s innovative approach continues to redefine musical storytelling. Gearheads, music lovers, and PSB fans won’t want to miss this!

Three friends return to their makeshift studio to sit down for (possibly) the last time, to marvel in the latest album to leave PSBHQ: 'The Last Flight'. Expect a monsoon of artefacts, a different kind of drink for every section, and a bunch of candid conversation made simply for the fun of it. We also go on a field trip to London, to speak with Stephen Bridgewater of the Aerospace NOTAM Podcast, about some pioneering women of aviation. Stay tuned for a few more treats headed to your ears before Christmas, for there shall come a mightier blast.

On this special bonus episode, the boys take their mics on the road for a long-anticipated return to being part of the PSB live-scene! We meet a couple of #Informers at the Sir Ralph Abercromby pub in Manchester, AND get some decent music pumping out of the juke-box, before donning our aviator goggles and diving headfirst into the crowd at the Albert Hall. It's a bumper-bonus ep featuring some new voices, and is one of our all-time favourites.

The three PSP gents recruit yet another member... It's Mr. B! Excited to get on the road for the new tour, we chat about the live experience of a Public Service Broadcasting gig before another round of the PSP-PSB-PUB Quiz... but will Mr. B (a member of the actual band!) win? Inspired by the Live at Brixton DVD commentary, the studio gets stinky with some goats cheese and Babybell to pair with the tasty Brixton beers! A mini episode for a massive race.Prepare yourself for de Elfstedentocht. The PSP team skate around PSB’s entry for Record Store Day 2014 – a two-track release commissioned by Dutch festival, Explore The North. Marking 10 years since this release, these tracks might just find their way onto the setlist for the upcoming tour. With a new take on “beer” for the podcast, these three idiots create a disgusting new cocktail using a traditional Frisian spirit and a smelly artefact that’s been acquired through illicit means. We've got a bumper bonus episode, chatting to a chorus (almost) of exceptional Welsh vocalists; Lisa Jên Brown & Chris Evans (from the Beaufort Male Choir). Our second bonus episode of the series! On the 20th of April, the band released a special single for Record Store Day, distributed around the UK to independent record stores. The man in search of this record is a podcaster and vinyl collector: Commander - Wonky - Hat. _____ For this episode, we step out into the world, away from our studio. The Commander makes it his mission to queue for 12 hours to get the limited release of Gagarin, whilst H.C. Wellgulls and Jaberlongy Salmon (who don't want to do that) stay safe and warm to chat about the new PSB logo and tour announcement.
