ECMO is an important, last resort to save many of our patients with cardiopulmonary failure and we are seeing it used in our sickest COVID patients.  Do you know how it works?  Imaging plays a vital role in assessing the complications of ECMO, but the hemodynamic alterations and artifacts make CTA tricky.  Dr. Ross Frederick summarizes this new ECMO paper and additional information on how to do it right.
