If you are like most moms, you are very intent on keeping your children safe. Safe from sickness, hurt feelings, and bumps and scrapes. Fortunately for those of us who claim Jesus as Lord, we can trust that every word of God proves true and that He is a shield to all who come to Him for protection. Trusting Jesus and the word of God all sounds great until the rubber meets the road and one of our kids gets hurt either physically or emotionally. That is when God asks us: “Do you believe everything in my word to be true and do you fully trust me?”
