I came across the music of BABYGHOST when they were brought up to me by Mr. Tony Santana of Mob Hit Records (aka MOB Music Collective). While working with many different artists, he told me that BABYGHOST would be right up my alley. He was definitely right.

A recent college graduate, music has played an important role in their life since inception. By taking all those influences they grew up along with what they ended up getting into once they reached adulthood, with everything mixed into the proverbial blender and plastered onto the canvas, we have the singing/songwriting juggernaut unleashed to the world as BABYGHOST. With a background in choral vocal, everything with their music is primarily poetry in rhythm, which is then laid onto a sonic landscape of sound.

Now before anyone says anything, I know - Lou, what’s with the “they/them/their”? I respect them as a person first before I respect them as a musician, and they granted me the same respect in return. I’m not here to promote any ideology. Any conversation that was had outside of the recording of this episode was between me and BABYGHOST alone.

I’m only here to promote their music because I think it’s good, and I wanted to provide this platform to them to promote it. We agree to disagree on many things, and it’s all good. One thing I appreciate about them is their kindness and their creativity. We both agree - as long as we can live and pursue our happiness without hurting anyone, then we can live harmoniously, and I’d rather be in union with people over our similarities than divided by our differences. And that’s the only thing other than music I’ll promote.
