Grading the Leafs at the All-Star Break

Nick Kypreos, Justin Bourne and Sam McKee begin the Friday edition show giving their grades on the Maple Leafs roster at the NHL All-Star break including their assessment of the top six, why they're leaning on Auston Matthews and William Nylander too much, why they're unimpressed with the bottom six, and how the defensive core has performed so far this season. Then, Leafs Nation's Gord Stellick (21:53) jumps on to chat about his weekend in Florida for the festivities, if there's a change in approach with talking to players during media day, and what he thinks about the league continuing with a 3-on-3 game to cap off the weekend. Doug Maclean stops by for his weekly chat (41:47) to share his experience coaching the All-Star game, his son Clark receiving a game-worn jersey from Wayne Gretzky, and why the weekend is important for the players and the league. Sportsnet's Chris Cuthbert joins the boys (1:06:28) to discuss if he feels any pressure to side with the Canadian teams during his broadcasts and his expectations on how the skills competition will play out. To wrap up, the guys answer listeners' questions!
