In this episode, I speak with Dr. Andy Rotman, professor in the Religion Department and Buddhist Studies program at Smith College in Massachusetts where he teaches a course on "spiritual but not religious," one of the fastest-growing demographics in the United States. In our discussion, we talk about who identifies as spiritual but not religious, what it might mean, but also some of the key themes driving what Andy refers to as a "movement of discontent" including economic, racial, social, and environmental justice.
