Co-head of SYXT and Glukkon Records, Romania-born artist Ketch steps
in the series with two hours of full-fledged big-room-oriented dynamics.
Combining the dark and brute side of steely industrial music with that
of more deep-minded electronics, halfway dub immersion and further
left-field acid eccentricities, Ketch ploughs his own furrow aside from
techno's main drag, somewhere at the junction of raw brutalism and
tribal-inherited transcendence. Just like his own tracks, the
Italy-based producer’s mixes lay down a complex, near-labyrinthine
mindset, not quite choosing its side between hands-on floor destruction
and eruptive mass communion. Hear hear, it’s the sound of your soul
fanning out.
