Director Em Weinstein Talks LGBTQ+ Filmmaking And Their New Short.

Em Weinstein is a writer and a director of new plays, films, musicals, and interactive installations with a list of credits and awards a mile long. They have a new short film, "In France, Michelle Is A Man's Name," a heartwarming story of a young trans man visiting his folks. I loved it.

We chat about stories from LGBTQ+ filmmakers, how they are represented in media, how advertisers have started embraced the LBGTQ+ characters in commercials and more.
