Receiving God’s promises

God’s promises are starkly different from the promises made by humans. His promises are intentional. They are personal and directional. When God makes a promise, He is very thoughtful about it. When you receive a promise from God, it will lead you to fulfil God’s plan and purpose. They may be beyond human imaginations, but they will always come true. When God promised Mary that she would have a child through the Holy Spirit, though humanly impossible and unimaginable, it did come true. God’s promises are not a demand. His promises show that there is nothing impossible by God.
