We rewound this '95 submarine thriller in tribute to the late, great Gene Hackman but we didn't expect to find it more relevant than ever 30 years later.

Trouble with Russia? Check. On the brink of WW3? Check. Feeling safe with nukes in the hands of the US President? Uh oh.

It's Denzil vs Hackman with genius filmmaking, shady filmmaking and a bit of secret Tarantino thrown in.
