Is Reading Braille A Dying Art?

It’s estimated that less than 8% of visually impaired people in the UK can read braille.

However, with advancing technology and changes to the outdated braille readers there is talk about a potential raise in literacy levels.

James Bowden, RNIB’s braille technical officer, tells us more about what the future of braille could have in store for us.
