On a Wednesday evening on May 31, 1995, a young woman registered at the Oslo Plaza Hotel which is considered to be a 5-star luxury hotel. She was with a man during the registration, he shortly left after she was given room 2805 to stay in. Three days later one of the staff members noticed that she hadn't paid for her stay. There was a “don't disturb” sign in front of her door for 2 days which made it hard for the hotel staff to reach her. Later it was discovered she seemingly committed suicide.
