Jakob Trollbäck is the founder of The New Division and Trollbäck + Company. On top of this, he is perhaps most famous as the main architect behind the communication language for the United Nation's 17 Global Goals for sustainable development. Since its launch in 2015, the Global Goals agenda has been used by companies and organisations worldwide and has been a substantial contribution to the increased conversation around sustainability.
In this episode, Jakob discusses:
Taking help from Richard Curtis to make the goals understandable.
Having OCD and how design accelerates that.
Choosing 17 different colours that are both distinctive and work together.
Making every country on the planet approve your design.
Having pasta with Al Pacino.
How constantly thinking about the UN goals made him a better person in terms of equality and sustainability.
Why you need to push emotions into sustainability work.
