"Take my hand, Kira. You don’t want to make me mad do you? I’ve waited too long already” “Please,” Kira whispered, frozen in place, “you’re scaring me.”
“I know,” said the man, flashing a predator’s toothy grin - “That’s why you come here, right? To be scared? Being scared is fun. That’s why you all went on the rides! But you didn’t go on mine. And no one can scare you like I can, Kira? Nothing will scare you like what I can SHOW you? Once you SEE what can BE - NOTHING ELSE WILL MATTER.”
Dan knocks it out of the park with not one but two amazingly haunting tales. He begins with the tale of the man for Taured. This story explores the concepts of the multiverse, an idea explored by many people. Could it be possible that our lives as we know them are only iteration of our lives? What would you do if everything you knew to be true, to be fact, was taken away from you? It's such a bizarre concept to dig into a new topic for some big creep factor on Scared To Death. It's Dan's second story that throws Lynze into a tizzy. Have you ever been in an amusement park and felt yourself overcome with fear of being lost? Or worse, being kidnapped? This story has so many layers of scares, there is no way you listen to it and get a good nights rest.
Lynze brings three stories this week for a smattering of shadow people tales. Which of the three is the most horrifying? Probably the first tale. The story might be short and sweet but the photograph as the end is haunting. Story two and three don't necessarily pack in a ton of spoops but they will make you question what shadow people are, why they might be here and how their world works.

Bad Magic Productions Monthly Patreon Donation:
We are trying something new this month! Instead of doing one big donation, we are spreading around the funds from all you who support the show via Patreon. Every year, we try to choose various charities in various categories. No year would be complete without a donation to an animal cause! We are animal lovers and that makes helping out these two charities even easier.
We will donate a total of $14,100! With that, we are giving $7,050 to Trinity Stables in Georgia. They run a speciality program called Stable Moments, a weekly mentorship program that utilizes equine-assisted learning to achieve life skills that better prepare foster and adopted kids for healthy transitions into adulthood. For more information on this charity, visit https://www.trinitystables.net/
Our second charity is Vintage Pet Rescue is a Rhode Island based non profit committed to rescuing “vintage” aka senior pets from shelters and assisting their owners who can no longer care for their vintage pets. The team at Vintage Pet Rescue give these animals love, attention and medical care for the last months or years of their lives. For more information on this organization visit them at https://www.vintagepetrescue.org/

Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted):
"Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened. Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH."
