Scared To Death

The Face Of Grief (Black Aggie)

72 min • 8 maj 2024

Dan's first story  first revolves around Black Aggie - the name of a statue that sat for years in a Maryland cemetery and attracted a number of paranormal claims, many of which were featured in various articles in the Baltimore press. Then we explore some Cherokee Folklore. The story of the Yunwi Tsunsdi  aka…. the “Little People.” Most of the stories come from the area of Hickory Nut Gorge, North Carolina. A haunted house trifecta from Lynze this week is sure to please! Her first two tales are quick classic with the children of the home knowing that it's haunted but the parents brushing it off... until they too find confirmation. Her third tale takes us back to the Whaley House in San Diego!

Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted):

"Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened. Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH."
