Dan has a story about a young boy named Cody and his imaginary “friend” who is NOT friendly and not imaginary. Then a collection of paranormal sightings in Plainfield, Wisconsin, that all revolve around the ghosts of either murderer Ed Gein - his mother, or his victims. Lynze has the most terrifying tale of the week with the folklore of The Whistler. YIKES!
SCARED TO DEATH IS EXPLICIT IN EVERY WAY. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHILE LISTENING.
The setting for Dan's first story is a Murder Mystery party. The premiss: since everyone is in costume, what if someone there is someone you don’t know. Someone… not alive. In his second story Dan shares the short tale of man haunted by a few weeks of terrible nights from his childhood. Lynze taps into two fears we can all relate to: dark and lonely rest stops and dark and scary basements! Enjoy!

Bad Magic Productions Monthly Patreon Donation: https://www.kidsrockcancer.org/ This month, we are making a yet to be determined donation to Kids Rock Cancer, in St. Louis, in honor of Jeff Burton. Jeff Burton was a long time staple on The Rizzuto Show, a show that has supported Dan and Timesuck and Bad Magic for a long time. Jeff recently passed away after a grueling fight against cancer. Even while Jeff was fighting for his life, he made it a priority to raise money for Kids Rock Cancer. Kids Rock Caner is an innovative program that helps children successfully cope with the unique emotional challenges that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Through the proven healing power of music therapy, Kids Rock Cancer helps children combat feelings of anxiety, depression, uncertainty and helplessness. Jeff was just 55 years old. He is survived by his wife, Juli and their two daughters, Abby and Casey.

Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted):
"Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened. Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH."
