Her research is focused on identifying the risk factors and maintaining factors for screen addiction or problematic media use within behaviors of children that can then be used as screening tools by professionals. Sarah also shares her work with parents on breaking the cycle of reinforcement of screens by teaching parenting skills, assisting with limit setting, and teaching parents how to implement replacement activities.
