There are 5 couples left and season 2 is closing down as another week of intensity on the dance floor ensues. Jerry spent the week using his anger to drive the emotion in his performance by thinking about the judges previous scores or comments and find out why Ana had him hold a coin in his buttocks. Cheryl believes that her tango with Drew is the dance that put them on the map as Nick Lachey peeps in on their rehearsals, Edyta was dripped in diamonds as her husband Alec joined as a mentor and George’s IT factor dazzles the judges as they think they are watching Dynasty the musical. Lisa breaks down as Louis gives her some tough love which pays off as her fear of ballroom dances goes away and she delivers for the judges, and finally Stacey and Tony finally seem to hit their partnership stride when they visit Camp Pendleton and dance for the troops building on that feeling and momentum in the ballroom. Cheryl breaks it all down on this week’s rewatch.

It is part 2 of Episode 3 of the season 2 rewatch series. Cheryl dives right in on what she calls “Lisa’s breakout dance” of the season with her and Louis’s Jive. Cheryl loved everything about this dance, but her biggest compliment is how Louis and Lisa shine as his partner, a lesson the pros have to learn on this show and it is not always easy. There was a shift in mood on the show when the packages started to roll out between Tony and Stacey. She learned that her 42” legs finally have a disadvantage as the tension grew between the two of them and it got heated when she was not performing up to Tony’s standards. Master P & Ashley took off to the basketball court to see if his moves there could translate into his moves on the dance floor, but at the end of the day Len suggested that it was time for him and the show to part ways. The big question is do you remember if the audience listened? Lastly it was time to see if it was a true lie or not on whether Tia would be able to handle the tango with Maks, but they came through with flying colors in one of Cheryl’s favorite dances of the week.

Cheryl dives deep in this new interview and conversation with Anna Trebunskaya who was supposed to be an OG but her partner backed out during the training period of the very first season of DWTS dating back in 2005. Who was it?! Well you’re gonna have to listen as this is the first time Anna doesn’t shy away from revealing who it was, she was supposed to dance with. As always, Cheryl doesn’t shy away from asking some hard-hitting questions such as why did her and her first husband get divorced (fun fact her ex-husband was one of Cheryl’s first dance teachers prior to dwts), Anna’s thoughts on being paired with Gary Busey and if you ever crossed the line with her, to why she thinks she never won a mirrorball during her season dancing with America’s sweetheart, Evan Lysachek, who had just won a gold medal for his country. She is known for her fiery personality and her no BS approach to teaching her celebrity partners on the show however, this interview shows a whole other side to Anna. Make sure to listen until the end because it only gets better and better as Anna courageously shows a vulnerable and transparent side of her that not a lot of people have seen or heard, yet.
