Shellshocked Radio Talks & Music Recommendations
Well, I guess I'm preaching to the choir here, @The Sisters of Mercy - Topic are a stable of the goth culture / goth music even though apparently Andrew Eldritch hates the term "Goth" in conjecture with his music. And in a way, I have to side with him, the music of "the Sisters" has not much in common with @Joy Division @neworder or @Siouxsie And The Banshees who are really "Post Punk" and "Proto Goth", so yes, you can say that they are just a Rock Band.
Still, they are living icons and have spun so many new iterations of music Wayne Hussey's @The Mission and inspired many, many more.
Including myself, so that Simplefixty and I ( @Megalmodas ) created our very own cover version ( https://youtu.be/3wAB2i7kgwI ) this year to honor our heroes.
Anyway, if Andrew likes it or not, he has become associated with the Goth music and put a big stamp on it in his way. So, I can say for myself, thank you very much for all the great music!
