Honestly I do not really remember when I started to like Folk Metal. 

I have a background in historical / medieval re-enactment and sword fighting. 

So I was very often at medieval fairs, castles and such to do stunt shows with my mercenary group. 

Trust me, I heard a lot of (not so good ...) medieval folk music, so for quite some time I was really fed up with this genre. 

But in the last few years I really warmed up to especially the metal side of this genre.

Anyway, Utmarken are great fun! 

They don't take themselves too seriously but they are also not a silly "ha ha ha" band, they are no clowns. 

But you can hear the fun and (stage) presence they have, oozing out of their songs.
