Shellshocked Radio Talk w/ J.R. Kensington - Transition from Metal to Blues, Guns 'n Roses ... #103

Today J.R. Kensington, hailing from Gothenburg (Hell Yeah! GOTH-enburg 😉 ) found time for me. 

They had a strange and unusual way to find their sound as a band. The start has been a Metal Band (Arkaid) there the two members J.R. Kensington and Spike met. But the band disbanded and J.R. Kensington started his solo project where Spike joint him as he liked the new approach so much. So they got a very unique sound as they do heavy blues rock with a metal skeleton, as I would describe it. 

Topped off with a very distinctive vocal style, which makes the music really stand out as a whole. 

New music is in the works and at the end of this year (2021) there might be a whole EP or Album. 

AND of course I cannot wait to have a beer with them once they are on Stadium Tour here in Germany! :)
