Shellshocked Radio Talk w/ Lucian - Living Dead Recordings, Horror Punk, Blitzkid, Dragnun ... #124

Today, after two botched attempts (on my side I have to admit ...) I was finally able to sit down with Lucian. 

He has many hats on, as he is the head of the Label "Living Dead Recordings", plays in two Bands "Dragnun" and "Happy Hour Homicide", he wrote a book about how he got from being a   @BLITZKID  Roadie to managing shows and starting his own band(s), including all the trials and tribulations & much more in "Punk Rawk Junkie". 

Besides that he has a job and also studies ... this man is busy, but as he loves what he is doing he is not in danger of burning out.  

Also, as I've learned in our conversation, the label is a group, or better "family" effort. 

He lots of volunteers and helpers for all the aspects of running it, and he needs help as the list of bands which want to join his label keeps on growing. I honestly have to admit that I'm overjoyed to have talked with him, as all the encounters I had with labels so far were of the "cutthroat" and "adhesion contract" kind ... and in the past I always discouraged artists from joining a label.
