I have become an official Cornish resident this week! Congrats to me! I chat a little bit about my covid-compliant roadtrip round my new local area and then get onto an amazing interview which touches on the very important topic of MENTAL HEALTH.

This week's guest is.... GEORGIE!!

After her living situation became less than ideal, Georgie decided to take the plunge and move fulltime into her tiny Diahatsu campervan. She finally found the freedom and space to breathe which led her to face some of her mental health demons.

This started her on a journey of self acceptance and gave her the courage to share her struggles with others.

She now runs How Do You Peel, an online community focused on empowering women to share their own stories and know that they are not alone.

How could anyone produce a vanlife podcast without covering the iconic VW Campervan?

On this episode I cover the history of this beautiful van, read some emails from you owners out there, and then I chat with the wonderful Lee and Willow, also known as The Kombi Chronicles!

Lee, Willow and their rescue cat Aimee have been road tripping the USA and Mexico ever since they shipped their 1976 VW Campervan over from the UK to the US a year and a half ago. We talk about the adventures they have had driving over 15,000 miles, hanging out in Baja California and the kindness of the VW community!

Introducing.... KATHRYN!!

When Kathryn saw a yellow VW Caddy advertised on Facebook, she just knew it was her van and had to have it! She then took the van back to the farm where she grew up and she and her dad converted the yellow beauty into a micro camper, using recycled and reclaimed materials they had on the farm. She fell in love with vanlife and spends her weekends and holidays exploring the UK. She's now dreaming of going fulltime and is searching for something a little bigger but hasn't quite found the right van yet.
