On the 20th Episode of the Album Review Crew, Tom & Zeus & Sonny & Special Guest AEW Wrestling Superstar, Fozzy front man, Le Champion, Chris Jericho review the 1986 debut album by Poison, "Look What The Cat Dragged In." This album kicked open the door for glam metal. The album, the videos and the band for good or bad, became the poster child for "Hair Metal."
Led by the charismatic front man, Bret Michaels, Poison's simple lyrics, fun attitude and guitar hooks was made for MTV. The album anchored by the genre defining hit, "Talk Dirty To Me" ushered the band, C.C. Deville, (guitar), Bobby Dall (bass) & Rikki Rocket (drums) to the top of the L.A. hard rock/metal scene.
In between the jokes, the insults and the laughter, Jericho & ARC analyze Poison's role in the era, the scene, their legacy and more.
As usual the guys breakdown the tracks and rank the songs. The boys, including Jericho then rank the album and album cover against the previous 18 albums reviewed on the Album Review Crew Episodes.
This is the Most Can't Miss, Hilarious Episode of the Album Review Crew!
So if you want to "Act Tough" & if you "Got Pizzazz, Like A Razzmatazz" and you like to "Slide it In"...... this episode is where to begin!
