SkyWatchTV News 8/11/16: Carl Gallups - Protecting Kids from Dept of Education

In May, the Obama administration advised school districts across the country that federal law prohibits "discrimination based on a student’s gender identity, including discrimination based on a student’s transgender status." That sounds fine, except that the Department of Education advised that "when a school provides sex-segregated activities and facilities, transgender students must be allowed to participate in such activities and access such facilities consistent with their gender identity" -- including restrooms, locker rooms, housing, and overnight accommodations. Pastor Carl Gallups has developed a letter parents can download and use (see www.carlgallups.com) to put their child's school district on notice that they want the same protection of their child's gender identity under Title IX as the Department of Education is insisting on for transgender students.
