Geralyn Lambou Speaks Out On The Mistreatment Of Her Father And Their Family Through Thieving Guardianship

   Slam the Gavel welcomes Geralyn Lambou to the podcast to speak out on what happened to her 93 year-old father. It all started after her mother passed in 2017. Her nephew had moved in to help care for her father. Through unfortunate circumstances the nephew had passed. Geralyn had then moved in to help care for her father. She realized his dementia was worsening and also had a Durable POA. Friends recommended a doctor for Geralyn to take her father to. Geralyn was seeking advice from this retired doctor and his wife.
    The doctor recommended that he be put in a facility to calm him down and then later return home. However he never returned home. Geralyn would never trust physicians or lawyers again as the lawyer called and told her her father would be staying in the facility permanently. Someone changed the Estate paperwork.
    Her father was isolated for three years.  The three individuals mentioned in an  affidavit had isolated their father, medicated him, changed all of his estate documents, and liquidated his estate.
   The family found out where their father was living and all those that visited him were told to leave, otherwise they would call the police for trespassing, even though their father would ask for them to visit. In three years they moved him to four different places. The family would soon find out where he was but on the third move the family could not find him. Geralyn reported her father missing. 
     On October 10, 2022 Geralyn was notified through the same court their family were fighting this guardianship case in, that their father had passed away on August 20th, 2022, seven weeks later.
     Geralyn and her family now knew where he had lived and the funeral home who buried him. They called the last place their father lived and were told that the guardian told them she was his daughter and the funeral home was told he had no family.
