Steven Wade, Family Law Specialist, Speaks Out On How To Counter False Allegations And How To Succeed

   Slam the Gavel welcomes back  Steven Wade, Family Law Specialist from Wales, United Kingdom. Last on the show, Season 2, Episode 92, Steven Wade is one of the co-founders of the Family Law Assistance Franchise, a total of five around the UK. The Family Law Assistance Franchise is a growing band of a new breed of legal practitioners who help people represent themselves in the family courts using a mix of legal knowledge and coaching techniques . 
    We talked about false allegations as well as the current US case involving celebrities and how in the UK the burden of proof is in the balance of probability. We discussed the Order of Finding of Fact Hearings and what that entails for parents. Allegations have become less common and now are titled: "concerns." Great discussion on the reform of family law and how hostility is not in the Child's Best Interest. The family unit has changed throughout the years and we talked about how 'blood is not thicker than water' anymore. When there is a false allegation, a person can lose siblings as well as other close family members.
    Steven Wade encourages not to give up as you will regret it, and Parental Alienation is the hardest thing a person can deal with. Steven mentions to write letters and postcards and put them in a box, because one day if the child returns, they will know that you were always thinking of them.
