Your mind is racing. 


Your body can’t quite relax.


Maybe you’re feeling anxious.  


Or maybe you can’t stop thinking of the checklist of things to do. 


Or perhaps you have the excitement of tomorrow swimming around inside of you. 


Whatever it is, you can’t sleep. And as the minutes pass by, your restlessness may even worsen as the possibility of a sleepless night drags you into a pool of anxiety.  


So the intention of this meditation is to help softly distract your mind with soothing guidance so your body can melt into the deep sleep it craves. 


Journal Prompts:


Before Bed:

  1. Freewrite for a few minutes about why you can’t fall asleep. What’s on your mind? What are you worrying about? Excited about? Want to organize? Write it down so it can stay on the paper and not in your mind. When you’re done, simply write, goodnight. I’ll be back for you tomorrow. 

Morning After Sleep:

  1. Write down any dreams you can recall. Be as descriptive as possible. 
  2. What are your intentions for today?
  3. What are you grateful for this morning?
